The TV Gods have blessed my viewing eyes with even more Abby Lee. It's no surprise that my #1 guilty pleasure of awesomeness has been Dance Moms. I cannot get enough of the dancing and the drama and Abby Lee herself. I had a day of sadness after Dance Moms season 2 ended. Can you blame me? But! Today I got a shock jolt of adreline when I discovered......
ABBY'S ULTIMATE DANCE COMPETITION. What? You may ask. Let me describe in my words... It's So You Think You Can Dance and Dance Moms mixed into one yummy show. I almost shed a tear of happiness. Bless you Lifetime (that's the channel this blessed TV event will air on). Here's a teaser trailer for the show, but I say skip the teaser and go straight to the show. It premiered last night, but not to worry, you can catch the episodes on mylifetime.comHere's the teaser:
A recent search through Instant View on Netflix yielded the best news: Revenge. Yes, Season 1 of Revenge is now available for your viewing pleasure. Are you one of the nit-wits that didn't give into the Hampton set soap drama? Well suck up your pride, your ego, and just sit down and enjoy good, solid drama TV. This news is exciting because of the upcoming Fall TV slate. Old, new, mediocre shows are on the breach of sucking up all our free time and I couldn't be more excited. But, let's pause a moment and give some kudos to some incredible summer tv. 1. Big Brother. Holy Shit Dan. You are officially the best player the game has EVER had. You deserve to win. (But I'm rooting for the lovable Ian.) This season has just been jaw dropping, chocolate eating good. Thank you CBS casting for finding such a perfect mix of people. 2. Dance Moms. This show can never end. I must know what happens to these talented little girls and their psychotic moms. Crazy how we never see a husband :/ The latest episode introduced a new girl. We all know that means Trouble. That stands for T and rhymes with P, and that stands for PROBLEMS! Oh joyous. 3. True Blood. The show delivered. Enough said. 4. Suits. (on TBS) Season 2 aired this summer and I'm just in lust with this show. The men's fashion is just perfection and the story lines are as juicy as the leading man's ass. sounds perfect, right? 5. Bad Girls Club (whichever season they are on, I get confused). What doesn't confuse me, but more so confounds me is the amount of fights these girls have. This season has been cat fight, tiger fight, and finally a panther fight. It's been great jaw opening season. Keep it up Oxygen. And again, kudos to the casting department. They sure do know how to pick them!
The past month has seen me working out of town on a movie, finishing my short film, and awaiting a storm that never hit. (Stupid sprinkles of jr. rain. Grow up) Bygones. As I have stated, my short film has made it into the top 20 film festival. Bledska Works is in the running for money! yay.
On to Big Brother. Yes, I can't believe I was able to write all those sentences without once referencing Dan's most epic Big Brother move of. all. time. Superb reality television.
Last summer I became obsessed with Dance Moms. This summer, I'm worse. I have to do jaw exercises after each episode to avoid soreness because my mouth hangs open for 43 minutes. Spectacular Entertainment.
Season 1 of Homeland has cemented itself in my brain vault as the most surprising, riveting, edge of the couch, can't get another drink cause I don't want to miss anything smash hit. So you can imagine my excitment when I saw the trailer for season 2. Oh holy hell am I excited.
So today, I leave you with that: I shouldn't have to say this, but, spoilers below. If you haven't watched all of season 1 or none of it then don't click play. Happy watching.
Over the summer I became obsessed with the Lifetime reality show Dance Moms. The show is jaw dropping awesome, in the trashy reality show way. If anyone recalls, I named Dance Moms as my OMG Reality TV Moment in my Summer TV Awards.Don't remember? Click here for a recap. Well the splendid has happened and Season 2 is premiering tonight on Lifetime. What's so glorious about this is that I haven't even seen a sneak peak or trailer. All footage I watch will be brand spanking new. And I'm so bloody excited about it. Its the small things in life, right?
So, if you love trashy reality TV or if there is a gay man living inside your head that laughs along at all outrageous moments committed by TV fame whores, then tune in tonight for an all new Dance Moms. Lifetime....at some time, check your local listing.
