Christmas is approaching which means our beloved TV shows either end or take a hiatus. This makes my heart swell with a sadness that probably isn't rational, but I pay no mind to that cause I love my TV shows and my TV characters. I invite these characters into my heart and home and then poof, they are gone, sleeping in the TV box, waiting for the next season or awaiting their proper burial. Homeland and Dexter each have 1 episode left. Last nights episodes were EPIC to say the least. I can hardly contain my imagination as it wishes and hopes for the last episodes to satisfy my needs well enough to tide me over till next September.
SPOILERS AHEAD FOR DEXTER AND HOMELAND. BEWARE.

Excitements
Monday morning and all I can think about is how excited I am for Sunday night. 7 days. Only 7 more days and I get to bask in the glow of Homeland, Dexter, and Revenge. All On The Same Night. It's Peanut Butter with the Chocolate kinda good.
Until then. We say adieu to Big Brother. Ian wins and we are all very happy for him and blah blah blah. I still think Dan deserves to win. Mastermind of Gods (MOG). I'm coining that right now. Dan is the MOG. I'm glad he got some money. He deserved it. I'm gonna miss Big Brother. Till next summer I'll dream of watching another Dan-esque character running the minds of his 5 minions. *sigh*
Special mention to the return of The Office. I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Kevin and his turtle was perfect comedic work. I highly look forward to every episode. The bar has been set!

I'm Sorry For....Blog style
The past month has seen me working out of town on a movie, finishing my short film, and awaiting a storm that never hit. (Stupid sprinkles of jr. rain. Grow up) Bygones.
As I have stated, my short film has made it into the top 20 film festival. Bledska Works is in the running for money! yay.
Be sure to keep up with all activities via facebook.

On to Big Brother. Yes, I can't believe I was able to write all those sentences without once referencing Dan's most epic Big Brother move of. all. time. Superb reality television.
Last summer I became obsessed with Dance Moms. This summer, I'm worse. I have to do jaw exercises after each episode to avoid soreness because my mouth hangs open for 43 minutes. Spectacular Entertainment.
Season 1 of Homeland has cemented itself in my brain vault as the most surprising, riveting, edge of the couch, can't get another drink cause I don't want to miss anything smash hit. So you can imagine my excitment when I saw the trailer for season 2. Oh holy hell am I excited.
So today, I leave you with that: I shouldn't have to say this, but, spoilers below. If you haven't watched all of season 1 or none of it then don't click play.
Happy watching.

I went and did it. Plus, other random thoughts
I've asked for opionions and I've drawn out many versions over a couple of months, and now I've finally done it. I got my 7th tattoo.
In case you cannot figure out what it is....
It is a peacock with the text "The in between is killing" which connects the head and tail.
All my tattoos materialize from some time period in my life. This is my biggest tattoo and probably my most personal. The text came from a poem I wrote about a dear friend who is no longer with us. For her, the in between was killing her.
But what I love about the line is that it applies to so many other aspects of my life.
I'm very happy with it. Shout out to Fortune and Glory tattoo shop on Line Ave. Matt was patient with me and very professional. I recommend the place!
Other news....ump, I think dear ol' fucker James Holmes has been dominating the news. I choose to no longer read about him, until, a guilty / death penalty are decided by a jury of his peers. I volunteer to be on that jury.
The Dark Knight Rises was wonderful. I hate that it's success could be soiled by such a twat. Enough said.
Now back to my vapid love of TV shows...
Big Brother is back and is it rocking my socks. I love the new twist this year and declare that Boogie looks like he is being eaten from inside himself. The sunken eyes and cheeks and pale skin. (I do hope he isn't really sick, but damn, he does look it.)
Newsroom is my new Homeland in terms of truly compelling television. However, I did just read that Aaron Sorkin fired his entire writing staff and is hiring anew for season 2. I'm not in the writing room, I don't know all that happens, but from my outsiders pov, I'm shocked. Why try to fix something that isn't broken? Sorkin is notoriously anal retentive with writers and his shows. He seems to know what he is doing, so I reckon I'll just sit back and wait to see if Season 2 is as good as Season 1 is thus far.
